Have you tried the Windows Live SkyDrive beta yet? I’ve been using it to store private files that I can access from both home and work. I keep them private by signing in with my e-mail address and password. I’ve also created folders I share with specific people, and a few totally public folders. All you do is create a folder, set permissions to the people you want to share with, and upload your files.
Until recently, you could store up to 500 MB on SkyDrive, but starting today you can store up to 1 GB!
Another new feature—now you can set up RSS feeds for the public folders you’re most interested in, so you’ll know as soon as anything new is added.
There’s more information about the added storage and other changes in today’s beta refresh on the SkyDrive Team blog.
And because we’re working on more and better integration between all the Windows Live services, you can also access SkyDrive directly from your Windows Live Home page, and share your SkyDrive folders on Spaces.

Honestly with ALL the different File Hosting sites I didnt think it would fair well, BUT boy I use skydrive EVERYDAY!! It really integrates well with eveything, the windows Live Suite is great but this is really nice My accounts layout is perfect its really like a TOP NOTCH service!! AND now with the full 1GB boy I am so happy
Another thing I hate about this stupid live hotmail, besides being extrememly slow to download and slow to show key strokes, when i open e-mail, it doesn\’t show me what new mail is from my Hotmail contacts. I say again, why do you think this is better, whoever decided to do this without my permission? I guess I\’ll have to change e-mail address, for the first time since 1996. HATE IT!
