The Hotmail team really values your feedback and experience when using our products. We currently get feedback from many different places, including usability studies on new feature designs, surveys of existing Hotmail customers like you, the Hotmail feedback link, our support team, and other sources. We use these many sources to prioritize which new features to add, how to make Hotmail easier to use, and to identify problems that we need to fix quickly because they block you from using Hotmail.
While our blog posts give us a good way to communicate new features that we add to the product, a blog is not a complete solution. We want to have two-way communication with our customers and decrease the time that it takes to solve problems that users are having with their accounts.
We are proud to announce a new and better way to interact: Windows Live Solution Center!
What can you do on this new website?
- Get fast answers to common questions, such as “How can I stop receiving spam?”
- Get up-to-date status reports about Hotmail service issues or outages
- Work to resolve issues you’re having with Hotmail
- Talk with other Hotmail users about issues you’re having, or exchange tips and tricks
Hotmail support staff may be contributing to, moderating, and monitoring the site. The Windows Live Solution Center at www.windowslivehelp.com is the best place to go to report a problem with Hotmail or get help with your account.
The Windows Live Solution Center is just for Hotmail right now, but other Windows Live services will be part of the site in the future.
We look forward to talking with you more on the www.windowslivehelp.com site!

Bonjour, j\’ai un problème avec mon msn melissa.adam@hotmail.fr — une personne quelconque se logge sur mon compte et envoie des virus vers mes amis. Que faire?

Have received four messages telling me I have won Millions of dollars which are obviously a hoax. How do these people latch on to my address ? Robin.
Yahoo mail is Mac Friendly!AOL mail is Mac Friendly!G Mail is Mac Friendly! You can Spell check with all of them!WHY CAN\’T WE SPELL CHECK WITH HOTMAIL?
Mandxx,I don\’t know any of those answers. I don\’t know anything beyond the fact that I am a Chad. That is what matters to me. I assume that things will get sorted soon enough in regards to the questions you have – so I don\’t worry about them. Why are things being done the way they are? I don\’t know. There must be a good reason or they wouldn\’t do it this way.And why do I help? I don\’t. I have a lot on my plate right now in life and I am under a ton of stress. While I am working – popping in on here occasionally and doing this keeps my mind even more occupied. It is a means to selfish needs. So I\’m not here just to *help*. I\’m here to keep myself occupied. Why do I defend Microsoft? Because I believe in Microsoft. No – things aren\’t always perfect. Yes stuff happens I\’m not always happy about. But it doesn\’t change my opinion of what I think of the Corporation, or the members of the Live team. I know that when it comes to websites and big projects – that bugs aren\’t so easily identifiable. Like just about every single problem here – I haven\’t had. Everyhing works great on my computer. On another guys – maybe he has a particular problem that nobody else is seeing. Maybe 300 people are having a different problem. Bugs happen and that is all there is to it. Changes are being made to the over all look and feel of Live – so we can only assume that what we see today is some hybrid of what it was and what it will be. And maybe that transistion means we\’ll see two home pages today. And one when it is done. I\’m just saying…be patient. Let them do their job and fix this site and get it completed….then we can see what problems are long-term or just temporary things.

Hi, since the new hotmail live I cant upload \’\'attach\’\’ file such as a power point of 2 or more MB, it takes forever then wen all seems to be uploaded I get a long hotmail message box which I cant understand followed by another that says either my connection is to slow or file to big, wen I open my task manager there\’s 2 hotmail processes not responding but wen I close the file to big or slow connection box the second hotmail process disappears and my first hotmail process returns to running, I\’m stuck with a dial up connection 56k and IE6, but all worked fine before the hotmail change, needless to say I\’m pretty frustrated since uploading a 2 or more MB is long especially when hotmail message finishes by showing me a pop up saying that my file cant be sent, this happens all the time by the way, I\’m trying to attach just one file ??So now I wonder if its still possible to to attach a file bigger than 1 MB with a dial up connection, this also happens to a friend of mine with dial up and a different server than mineHope you can fix this or tell me why this happens !!Thanks
Chad – well done, you. It also makes my blood boil when people start having a go at Microsoft. Take, for instance the latest security scare over Internet Explorer. Comments about it include "crap browser". Yet who were the first people to come in and warn us all? Microsoft. Did anyone else come with a warning? No, they just whinged and \’suggested\’ people change their browsers. What a load of rubbish. The scare being talked about now has been going on in many ways for years and years. What did Microsoft do? Tore their hair out until they\’d found the solution. What did they do then? Gave it away to anyone who wanted to download it. So nobody tell me that Microsoft don\’t care. That\’s also a load of rubbish. So there.
Hey Chad,You want to do damage patrol and put yourself out there as the voice of reason then:1. Good luck, cause you\’re going to need it with all the damage done by the current WLH designers and the many negative and perfectly understandable responses brought on by those changes, so save your sessions for someone else cause there\’s nothing I\’ve read from you I either don\’t already know, have yet to explore and don\’t have any interest in.First of all, my hotmail status (whatever it is) is none of your business, how I express myself, to whom and where is none of your business. As someone (me) who hasn\’t used a mouse in over a year, as someone (me) who does everything strictly through keyboard, I\’m no one for whom you have to spell it out and would appreciate you sticking to your own issues, whatever they may be and leave everyone else to do the same and stop putting yourself out there as someone who has all the answers along with having to answer to. Now, with that off my chest, Peace out and I hope whatever issues (if any) you\’re now having to address with WLH will soon be resolved and the best of the holidays to you and for that matter, to all fellow bloggers and posters. Let\’s just hope this team, in the end, was onto something after all.See you in the funny papers.Ron
To fellow bloggers,My attack on Chad, (whom I\’ve a feeling is a nice guy) had to do with an attack on me and a presumption on his part to both: know who and how I am as a man as well as what my WLH status was as well as dictating where I\’m to post my blogs.Ron
I cant sign in to windows live messenger, it comes up with a error code??? wat can i do?
Hi Joe,Try freshening your password and email address, see if it takes. Good luck.
The new windows live does not allow me to make a print out of my favorite emails. How come?
Each time i try to read e-mails , when clicked to read the others it freezes. and there is no virus on my computer.
@Chad and Ron ….. See this is what happens! AND I think you\’re both missing the point! AND the point is …. IT IS MSNs job to be here on their Windows Live Team Blog to answer these questions, solve these problems, otherwise what\’s the point in having a live team blog, where you can put comments and which is a sort of feedback! It\’s like having a suggestion box with no place to put your suggestions into!! I\’m sure Chad, people you\’ve helped appreciate the help, but LIVE TEAM should be doing it!This is the LIvE TEAM\’s BLOG page, let them answer! Oh and thanks to Ladyx who emailed me the answer to one of my questions ……… if you click on the Live logos on the top left of your screen it takes you back to your home page! Chad, you assume things will be sorted out, that\’s the thing you don\’t know, and unless we tell MSN of our gripes, they possibly won\’t be!

Hi Mandxx,I think it\’s safe to say that anyone posting on this page ( since turning Hotmail into a children\’s book ) gets the point of what is going on, been going on and continues to go on, hence everybody taking a break before coming back to read and post some more but it might help if I remind you that this page ( as I see it anyway ) isn\’t set up and I believe is not intended to be set up as one of those tech sites where the response is immediate to whatever the question is. I believe that it is primarily and simply a place for members to voice their opinions, good or bad as well as suggestions which then, at some point, gets picked up by the team who either then immediately act on what they\’ve read, dimiss all together or put off til\’ they feel the time is right before putting anything into action. Chad alludes to this in one of his blogs about the team maybe being inundated with all the blogs they have to read, then to decide what if any action should be taken.I\’m dreaming of a White Christmas, Smile!
Hi Mandxx,Glad that I could be of help,
LadyX
RonMy comment was not an attack. You stated in your post the following:"changed Hotmail into a God da*n childrens book with it\’s large fonts and far less sleek interface, problems which, after more than a month of fu**ing everything up, continue to plague us to this day…"-and-Would rather direct to the idiots responsible for bringing them about in the first place.-and-In the future, just speak for yourself and for da*n sure don\’t speak for me and all those who despise all that has resulted from the stupid changes these morans dropped on our laps, changes which ( if they had any sense ) should have been tested repeatedly before springing them on their users and members."My comment to you, asked a question. Why are you so hostile? And, why do you choose to insult people and the people working on Live?Hardly an attack. And Ron you are wrong. How you talk to people is my business. Because this is a public board. How about meeting me in a public place so I can yell insults and slander right by your wife\’s head? Are you gonna ignore it? No you won\’t. Because it will be a public place and I\’ll be offending people. While I would not do that – is besides the point – the point is that this is a public place as well. Even children have access to this page Ron – and slander is irresponsible on any public forum. At the end of my post – I mentioned to everyone that there is a place you can get help – provided the link – and reminded them that this particular location isn\’t the place to seek feedback from the Live Team. Now how it appears as me dictating is beyond me. I thought it would save people the trouble. Ron, you seem like a decent enough guy and I don\’t think low of you. I\’m not angry or nothing. I just think you should know why I responded to what you had written. And Mandxx – I disagree. QnA and Live Spaces, etc is a COMMUNITY. Being part of a community doesn\’t mean if I see a kid starving – I call the nearest Government official to fix the problem. it means I feed him. And the same here – this is a community. If people are having trouble – then maybe another member of the community can help. So what? Are you the type of person when faced with mass hysteria that goes nuts because the Government can\’t control the masses or are you the type that jumps in to help for the greater good of the community? This is no different. Mandxx – I am sure they hear what people are saying. That doesn\’t mean they instantly have to provide a solution to every single problem. That would be impossible. It would take tens of thousands of web professionals to be able to figure out every bug instantly. Then it\’d probably take tens of thousands more just to figure out the bugs those guys created. All I am saying is that getting angry with me because I wanted to help – or insulting the live Team Members and stuff isn\’t a solution. But fear not – my lesson has been learned. As recommended to me – I will mind my own business and won\’t pretend like I am the person with all the answers and someone to answer too. While I don\’t feel insulted by the Live Team – I certainly do by the members of the community. I am out of it. have a Merry Christmas and a better life.
how can you add your windows live "to-do list" to your Windows Live homepage. So I can see the items, as a list, on the homepage.
Thanks Chad
Point taken Chad, about children loggin onto this page, and will try to curb my lanquage here on out. Did you read my reply to Mandxx, 2 or 3 blogs below? Also, the "children\’s book" reference is because that\’s what it looks like to me and is what came to me about 2 – 3 weeks ago with "larger than necessary" fonts and layout. It\’s just so frustrating when you think of when Windows Live Hotmail first launched and what a smooth and professional transition that was and no sooner do we start coming \’round to enjoying it\’s design, features and user friendly navigation do they decide to once again rearrange the furniture. It\’s the very first time ever going down this road with Hotmail and being the Pro user that I am, makes these changes that much more upsetting and disruptive. Let\’s just hope that whatever their doing/planning, that it\’ll all work out in the end.See you on the blog.R.
My Windows Live Back Up has locked me out and refuses to back up my HD. I have the desk top/control computer. My wife had no problem backing up her laptop which is included in the Live network. What gives? What do I do to overcome this block? It\’s never happened before. Thanks.
this is my first time on here. all i\’m truing to do is get my onecare to update. i click on "update" in the red warning box but nothing happens. also, the "go to website" box isn\’t there …………..help!!
My hotmail account has been hacked,. At this point I have received no help from microsoft, I cant find a way to talk to a person, the blogs only have more people like me whos accounts have been hacked and also can not get help. Any Ideas
@ No name and JamesT – For help with OneCare issues, please go to http://onecare.live.com/ and click "Help and Support." OneCare also has its own blog at http://windowsonecare.spaces.live.com/.
@Joe who had the problem with Messenger: Try doing a general web search on the error code you received, together with the words "error" and "Messenger." That usually turns up some useful results.
won\’t use it
Hi chad I\’m back. I did what you said about the blog photo folder but when I changed the permissions the photos also disappeared off the blog I wrote and had them in. If I\’m putting photos in my blog I don\’t want them in my photo album but if I remove the permission then they disappear off the blog too. It never use to do that. I really wish they hadn\’t messed with things that worked beautifully before and now don\’t work at all. I don\’t see where there is much improvement in this area at all.
I severely dislike the new format and would appreciate a way to use the old one! The button i pressed asked if i wanted to look at the new version it did not ask if i wanted to be stuck with it!!! I would aprecciate my old layout/format please I have searched through all settings and helps as well as searched online but i am unable to change it back please help or change it for me!!!! thanks
Thank you soo much, I can add my email addresses now without getting my book out. you are the greatest. thank you
Do not like the new format. I too would like to get back to my old format/layout. Can I change it back. Thanks in advance
verry difficu to use
Please know me how can i acess , from today onwards i am unable to acess mail, there is only window live search seems.
Thank you for giving the full list of folders back! Now can we PLEASE have our inbox/folders open in this full page view too? I don\’t use the reading pane (because I hate it) and it\’s now impossible to drag and drop messages into the lower folders. Also I find that when I drag & drop a message onto a blank space (because the page doesn\’t scroll down to where the rest of the folders are), it leaves the "4 messages" box on the page. As this keeps happening, paticularly when I am sorting my inbox into various folders, I end up with multiple "message" boxes scattered across the page obscuring the view of my inbox. Finally, can you please restore the message size column? Or at least give the option of displaying message sizes? PLEASE?!
I would like to make a plea for the feature in the version immediately prior to this one, where no matter how far down the message you went you could say, delete the message since the choices like delete did not move out of view when you descended the message.
Hi i need help i cant find how to get onto messenger like the actual instant messaging, no matter how hard i look i cant seem to find it on this new format. please help me find it pleasethankyou c.s
How can I stop being redirected to "www.perfumegirls.co.uk" when I am in my hotmail account. This happens without requests and is impossible to stop. I have also been redirected to a Zurich web site ?!!?!?!?!?!?!
why i cant signin
I got an email from the Windows Live Team (but the address is jennalee05@hotmail.com) saying they needed to verify my account info or my entire account would be deleted. Is this a real thing or just spam/abuse?
ChadQuote "QnA and Live Spaces, etc is a COMMUNITY. Being part of a community doesn\’t mean if I see a kid starving – I call the nearest Government official to fix the problem. it means I feed him. And yes I would I stop and feed that child, but I\’d also scream like hell, at the government who let that child starve, and for not doing their job properly, and would at the next opportunity vote and get all my friends to vote, that government out!! Let me repeat ….. your help and the help of others, with the problems people are having is appreciated!but the crux of the matter lies in the very first part of this quote ……" QnA …. etcThere seems to be a huge amount of Q and bugger all A! I am NOT looking for instant answers, nor are the hundreds of people who have commented on here, we are just looking for ANY answer at all!And Ron That is why I have asked this and other questions in a lot of other places, as have other people, and have ahd no response whatsoever,And if you go back a few blogs, there have been members of the Live team answering the odd technical question, so your point is moot!So your stuck with me!!
How do you remove e-mail count from welcome screen?
I want to delete multiple emails, pages or all emails at once. Can this be done?
Thanks, I can now see all my folders displayed and also, nomenclature now appears next to "manage folders".A while coming, but, Thank You. Although, I like the old "Classic" version better, this is now manageable.
Let\’s clarify things…….. Of, course, any close knit, caring community will, on finding starving children, take them in and feed and water them. Then, once they are bedded down for the night and comfortable, the tendancy is to go outside, collecting on the way pitchforks, torches, and anything else hot or pointy that comes to hand, and deal with the root cause of the problem
apperantly i can send out emails from my hotmail account as that feater has been block and is realy hurting my job search progress because i cant send my resume out any way to fix this????????
This new hotmail is so slow. I want the classic version back! And, I still have to scroll to see everything on the one page. Don\’t worry about the "themes". That is useless and for kids only. I just want hotmail back the way it was, so, it is useable. And, I have to wait until the huge ad at the top downloads before my messages can be opened. I thought by now, this would be better, but, it isn\’t.
(((((
Thanks for all of your new additions, but one problem here on mine at least. It\’s the scrolling. The files that I need to move over to personal folders, some I can\’t. When I scroll down, the in-box and folders scroll at the same time. Thanks for any help.
Guess I should add one more thing. I can still move my emails by selecting it, then using the move drop down, but a lot nicer to be able to just drag over….The older version was really so much better. I still have it on one of my computers. Is there any way to go back to the older version?
I want the old version back!! I have gone into about 10 messages this morning that I needed to reply to, and the reply key was not visible as an option. I had to start a new message. I am very aggravated. Why keep trying to fix something that isn\’t broken in the first place!
Dang still wayyyyy to much spam / random hi5 requests etc
Hot mail works great for me TY.
have hotmail…can receive, can read… can forward…but cannot compose, or write anything…will not let me..help.
I want my old hotmail plus format back, I do not like the way everything is spread all over the page. This mess looks like it was engineered by amateurs. If I made a mess like that, I sure wouldn’t put it on the internet so the entire world could see my ignorance. I didn’t ask for change. Why is it being forced on me?
I have been trying to log in for 5 hours now and they said hotmail is not accesible.
I am able to get into my emails from my internet exploror in my desktop but when i tr y from windows live hotmail it keeps telling me my windows live id is wrong I cannot have my new password sent to me cos I cant log in from windows live id so what am i do do, all this is cos you sent me an email today recommending I change my password to a stronger one which I did and I now have all t hese problems
Does anyone actually answer any of these questons
how can i retreive emails that i empty out of my deleted box
Is there anyway that I can delete multiple pages are once or do I have to delete each old page individually?
Thanks for the changing hotmail back it is so great now
@ Pam ….. No, Pam, I think we have established that they don\’t!! (see previous page!) and may I suggest to no-name below Mary it is a really bad idea to put your email addresses on display to the whole world and his brother!!(Thankyou Dave, for the clarification)
Hello all,Unfortunately, it\’s true that the people who work on this blog do not have the resources to answer every question that is entered here in comments. As is stated in the blog post above, there are much more effective places to go to ask questions and get support. For Hotmaill, please go to http://www.windowslivehelp.com. For other services, go to http://support.live.com and select the product you have a question about. To send feedback and suggestions directly to the team, go to http://feedback.live.com@No name who posted all of her e-mail addresses, I have deleted your comment to protect your safety and prevent your account from being overrun with spam. i use "windows live messager" however i recently upgraded to the "beta", but its worse i can no longer access facebook the tab is not there in the tab section nor does kiwee work (kiwee is for fonts and clip art) i tried reinstalling the older version but is stoped part way through nd repled "there was a problem with this installation. windows live suit was not installed. system error details code: 0x800ffff description: catastrophic failure", o i deleted as many beta files as i could i case they were blockingthe in stalation that didn\’t help no as i deleted soe of the files i can\’t log on. i beleve that a upgrade should be etter then thet and that it should at least be posible to downgrade if i am not satisfied with the result
How can I stop the blog image photo folder from automaically appearing as my new album when I add a pic in my blog. When I put a pic in my blog it goes to that folder but then that\’s the album that shows on my space and I don\’t want that one showing. It use to be you could drag photos and albums to put them where you want and you can\’t do that now from what I can tell. What\’s the sense of putting a pic in a blog then have it being the one that shows in the photo module too? You know things are much harder now then it use to be. I was more user friendly the way it was before.
@micheal if you click on tools, then options then layout, the third bos down to tick, or untick, say s show tab bar, tick then at the bottom of messenger all will be revealed.Thankyou live team for at least showing an interest!
Sherry if you look on at edit module, for the albums, you can edit the order the albums are shown, and that\’s the only way I\’ve found to cope with this. after I put pics on my home page!
Thanks Mandxx, It worked.
Windows Live Messenger 2009 – Signing In ProblemsIs Any Having Problems With The New Release Of MSN 2009 I Got A Update Last Night But The New Version Dont Let Me Log In. Is Anyone Else Having The Same Problem Or Is This A Bug That Beeds Fixing. Thanks Dan
Hotmail still freezing up??? I thought we were geting old bug free program back?
seems like lately, when i go to reply to an e mail when i go to send it it deletes it that is so frustrating and i am beginning to hate my computer. plus i don\’t get all my messages from family that have hotmail. it\’s digusting . but i always get all that junk.
Hey… What about fixing that piece of… something you rolled out as a new Hotmail?1. The layout and fonts are big. Too big. Is *HIDEOUS*. 2. There are a lot of empty spaces wasted between one folder and the other, on button and the other, etc.3. I can\’t tell where the folder list ends and the "related places" starts.4. I always end up "searching the web" instead of my mail.5. Half of the times, the layout ends up broken at some point (IE8).6. The "empty folder" is missing at the right side of Junk and Deleted folders.7. Half of the time, most clicks are just "lost" and Hotmail doesn\’t seem to notice that you are trying to do something.8. Scrolling 25 messages at a time… You are kidding, right?9. Plain text formatting *IS NEEDED* and I don\’t care about your brain damaged developers opinion.10. Faster? What??? Is waaay sloooowerrr than the previous version.11. This Hotmail version is the best reason why to move to Gmail.
How can I stop being redirected to "www.perfumegirls.co.uk" when I am in my hotmail account. This happens without requests and is impossible to stop. I have also been redirected to a Zurich web site ?!!?!?!?!?!?!
WHY do you need to create ANOTHER account to use windowslivehelp? Stupid…
I HATE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See, the thing is, unlike the transition from Msn Hotmail to Windows Live about 2 years ago which, if it was even that: 1). Was handled very professionally and smoothly, without slowing anything or anyone down2). Had a far more sleek, mature, sophisticated adult look and appeal, This Team (at a time when we\’re just beginning to settle in with the last setup) pull the rug right out from under us not just with an interface that looks more like something inspired by someone\’s 4 year old niece or nephew, with its larger fonts/lighter prints but with the stupid changes made, has derailed and brought about problems we didn\’t have before or had since corrected. This upgrade (so soon after the last) has been extremely disruptive, unwelcoming and downright frustrating. I know all about having to occasionally upgrade & jazz things up a bit but more often than not, as if done with blindfolds on, these bozos throw at us what often has the appeal of what might have been the very first version ever put out, so that the only way I can possibly understand how and why these designers & engineers would see such changes as an improvement, more attractive, would be if they were tripping at the time of it\’s creation, design and release.Besides giving the look of a childrens book, they unleashed on its members, a version filled with endless flaws, which, I would think would be a big "No-No" in the competitive market, thus reason to: a). Either revert back to the version everybody was happy withb). Replace the team behind this hideous and un-user friendly version which has caused such an uproar like I\’ve never seen nor have ever been a part of before or at the very least, c). Go back to the drawing board and make the changes necessary to bring about the kind of smooth operation we had with "Windows Live Classic" and correct whatever problems resulted by this joke of an improvement and extremely displeasing version. People keep saying "change is good" as if they\’re the first to come up with that line when the fact is, change isn\’t always good. I think (especially in light of this experience) that is just as true and sometimes wise ( in staying in the game ) to simply stand still for awhile, leaving everything as is or (at the very least, on occasion) make small changes without turning the entire operation on it\’s ear, \’cause at the end of the day, what really counts, what is most important to us all, what people most want and look for is a service that is dependable, reliable, consistant and honest. With those four elements in place, you have and are likely to have, customers and members who are not only loyal, pleased and satisfied but will remain so right up to the end, thereby keeping you in the game.I never was one to blog and now it seems that\’s all I do these days. One issue which (up until last night and with no imput from me) I was up against since September was, in order to activate my ID link to let me in without having to type in my password, I was having to forward my computer clock an hour from the "correct time", when before it was because my computer clock was set back an hour from the "correct time" that Windows Live wouldn\’t let me in, but the second I realized and corrected it, my sign in problem was solved, that is until "The Team", once again shook everything up and I really can\’t understand between the version they took from us and this new version how anyone can possibly see it as an improvement.
@Windows Live Team: Mandxx and I jogged someone about posting email addy\’s on another of your blogs. I\’ve seen lots of message with email links. Not good. Just have a look through some of your latest blogs about all the new Live Platform and you\’ll see what I mean. If you want to clear all those posts out, it\’s gonna be a long job. When I come on these things, underneath my own posts, I get a "delete" link. I haven\’t tested this yet to see if I can actually delete anything I\’ve written on yours, or anyone else\’s blog. If it works, a suggestion to those of you who have included your email addy is to cut/copy your posted text; delete original post, edit out your email address and repost your message. You at the Wndows Live Team and whoever else who may be working on the Live Platform deserve a huge award for quality software as far as I\’m concerned. Thank you for all you\’ve done for us. You deserve a lovely holiday. Go and have one – Merry Christmas:-)
Favorites syncing is not working on my Vista PC: only 3 out of 30 bookmarks from my IE7 have been sync\’ed. BTW, Ian and teammates should all go work at Apple and Google (assuming those good companies will hire them) and learn how the good people at these two good companies use common sense to produce user-friendly websites and application, and then come back and make Windows Live easy to use. With each redesign of Windows Live, I\’m less happy and ready to jump ship to iGoogle.
Ron, you said it so well. The product managers at Windows Live are not real people, I\’ve come to believe, or maybe they\’re just totally stupid, or maybe they hate people who actually use their service, or maybe they secretly work for Apple or Google and are doing their best to sink the Microsoft ship. This new design is so FOOBAR and so frustrating that I can\’t find the right words to describe my disgust. If not for the fact I have so much already blogged on MSN Spaces, I would have switched to Google\’s services.
what happened to the signature sign in sounds? Like a short clip plays when I sign in I have set to allow others to hear????
I have Windows Live Messenger Version 2009 (Build 1.4.0.8050.1202 and for the life of me I can\’t figure out how to display the icons along the left side of the Messenger window. If someone could show me how to do that I would sure appreciate it. Thank you.

How about the old hotmail that WORKED and was the most popular email service?New Hotmail = New Coke
je vous remercie du fond du coeurs c est tres interessant
Until Sunday I could get my email by hotmail, now all I get is hotmail live and cannot access plain old hot hotmail, thus i cannot open email nor have a list of my contacts. What do I do
I installed the latest version of Windows Live Messenger and Mail. Looks alright, intentions are good, but it does not work correctly and many features are hard to bring up. Biggest issue I face is: links to web sites from Live Today or Mail or Messenger seem inactive. Did I miss something the 3 times I installed it trying to solve this? Anyone has some suggestions? Thanks.
After using the previous versions of Windows Live Messenger for several years w/ web cam, I downloaded 2009 yesterday. Now, the sound is garbled and my video is grainy. When I clicked on Feedback, it launched "Windows internet Explorer provided by Yahoo". It says it is connecting but it never connects. I\’m staring at a white screen.
I joined the Windows Live solution Centre but went log in with a problem – it said my account was not linked with my registration – at a complete standstill – HELP!!!!!!
I have installed windows live outlook connector. I have uninstalled it. It still has all my email account and the calendar, but i can\’t delete it. How do i delete it?
