Last month, due to a security issue in the photo upload tool, the Hotmail team temporarily removed it while building an updated version of the tool. You may have already noticed this – the tool is back!
Instead of adding pictures as attachments to your Hotmail messages by clicking Attach and then File and then selecting the pictures you would like to include, Hotmail brings you a tool so you can more efficiently select and add multiple photos to a Hotmail message in Internet Explorer in a couple clicks: select Attach and then Photo.

No, photo inserting in e-mail is not working yet as shown above..I just check after reading this, but its samer as before.We can\’t see what is shown here in picture.Is any one can help?-Inner Eye
I used to have this feature before, but it has been few months that it disappeared. After looking everywhere to check about it, I saw the above announcement. I checked it again… I do not have it. The \’Attach" icon I have has no options at all.Please help me get it back. THis feature was so great.May K.S

I\’m using Windows 7, IE 8 and when I select "attach", there is no option to specify file or photo. If this isn\’t fixed soon, I\’m going to have to change to another email service – this is unbelievable that this isn\’t fixed yet.

I just started using hotmail. I am disappointed that I cannot insert a photo from the photo folder on my computer.I would like to insert the picture in my email itself, not attach it to the email. How can I do that???I also do not get an option of whether to attach a file or photo. This makes no sense in an email.I will have to go back to my old email program.KB

My "tool" never came back. It just says ATTACH. Th ere is no File or Photo to pick from. I can not send more than 4 photos, ONE AT A TIME!! How do I fix this!?

This is pissing me off. I\’ve had Hotmail for 10+ years cause I liked using it. I own a business and sending pictures is an important thing that I need to do. If MSN/Hotmail doesn\’t fix this STUPID Picture uploading tool soon, I\’ll switch EVERYTHING over to GMAIL!!!! This is ridiculous. How freaking long does it take to fix this issue with all your IT guys working for you. All everyone has been getting from you is the RUNAROUND. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, MAKES ME SICK.

I have been happily attaching photos to emailfor many years. Now I am harassed by a suggestion that you have a better way for me to attach/resize etc my photos. I DON\’T WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW PROGRAM I simply want to get on with what I\’m trying to do but your constant barrage is preventing me from doing this.
And now what ??? messenger is all f-out I can open it , can re-started , can do enithing with it in order to get it back normal so now what everytime I intent to open it the f-new version appears with I click to see it can work "but nothing" please help I got all my contacts and not only that but believed or not this is the way that I use to comunicate with people at work .. please help me .

Not clear where I should be posting this! Trying to find an email address for the Hotmail folks. I created my Hotmail account in 1998. The emails I have saved in my Inbox date back to only 2001. Is there any way to get ahold of any emails prior to 2001?! Reason being…I\’m assembling a book of all the letters and emails written by my pen pal over the past 20 years. Why can I only add items up to 50mb to my Skydrive? I pay for 25 gb of storage, and I several larger files I want to be able to access away from my computer (which is why I pay money for the service) and I can\’t upload thm.Why not?
